Huh?

September 24, 2007 at 2:13 pm (Random, TV)

You know how sometimes people/society/the world tells you something but you just can’t understand it? It’s as if someone came up to you and insisted that the sky was green. You wouldn’t understand it. You wouldn’t agree with it. And you’d be confused as hell as to why that person was saying that.

That’s how I feel about the VH1 show The Pick-Up Artist. Now, now. I’ve never watched it. But I’ve seen the guy from the show. His name is . . . I don’t believe this . . . Mystery. No, I’m not kidding. The guy’s name is Mystery.

I . . . I don’t see it. The guy wears goggles over his little cap! He wears a puffy shirt like he’s on Seinfeld! I think he’s wearing a house coat in the following clip! And he’s not attractive at all. What am I missing?

If this loser came up to me (not that he would—I’m a dog!) I’d punch him right in his rat face. Seriously. Here’s an idea, man! Talk to me like I’m a human being! That’ll work better than using “tricks” to get women. Ass.

Goggles wearing ass!

Don’t Go Here

September 24, 2007 at 12:44 pm (Feminism, Random)

Because it’s the Internet version of the Little Rascals’ He-Man Woman Haters Club. Isn’t that funny? It’s satire?!?! Or just stupid? *shrugs* I’ll tell you what it is: mainstream. Go find his book on Amazon.

I Love Comic Books

September 24, 2007 at 12:18 pm (Comics, Feminism)

But I hate the comic book industry.

Other people are also mildly disgusted with the industry. Note: this blogger is much nicer to Frank Cho than I would be.

Great post about radical  ideas—don’t worry. It isn’t related to comic books.

Radicalism means thinking right back to the root of a concept, being open-minded enough to change even deeply held or comforting beliefs if they are contradictory or unsupported.

This guy is standing up for men. Because men are victims of the nasty feminists—how dare they demand equal treatment!

And so you can never say that I didn’t show you both sides of the coin, here’s a little something to tell you about all the lies of feminism. Note: author thinks the feminist argument is based around the idea of a vast global conspiracy in which men in a back room created the patriarchy. Either the author is stupid or can’t deal with the complexity of social evolution and past/present power structures creating a misogynistic culture. It’s those damn subconscious ideas ruining his awesome either/or argument! Ass.
