The Stupid Is Still Here

September 5, 2007 at 5:26 pm (Comics, Feminism, Random)

Remember this guy? Well, here’s a great response to his present rant about feminists telling men what is sexy. Or something. Anyway . . . he shows up to share his unique view of the world and argues with jmatonak, the responder to his rant. Please note the baby talk that he uses (and the racist way he begins his original post on his blog). Since he trolled a message board that I frequent and used that same baby talk, I have come to the conclusion that he may be unable to deal with adult women. It’s just a theory but I think it’s workable.

I’m not a fan of Bill Maher but sometimes he cracks me up. Here he is talking with Chris Matthews.

Who Thought This Was a Good Idea?

September 5, 2007 at 2:02 pm (Rants, TV)

I couldn’t sleep one night and came across this garbage. Sure, a few chuckles but the rest was just me thinking, “Uh, who agreed to air this?”

Of course, I was very sleepy at the time so you be the judge.

In case you wish to punish yourself a little more, the show is called Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! and it’s on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.

The Secret to Life

September 5, 2007 at 1:51 pm (Random, Rants)

First and foremost, people don’t like for you to disagree with them. Obvious, right? But what’s more important is that you can’t disagree with them in a way that shows you are sure of your beliefs. Also, don’t be articulate because that just upsets them more. Oh, and while you’re at it, never talk about overall themes or the subject in general because that, in fact, means that you’re putting words in their mouths or attacking them. Yes, yes. Even if you say “I think” it means that you are attacking them.

Let them attack you with every stereotype at their disposal. Also, don’t correct their false notions—that means you’re attacking them. Don’t bother to point out underlying themes and whatever you do, do not point out propaganda or the influence of the culture on people. Because you know what? That means you’re attacking them. Also, if they run off people that agree with you, please keep in mind that you are still the bully and they are still the poor victims. And when they ask you over and over to explain yourself, always do so but never demand the same of them.

Don’t defend yourself. Let them mock your views and call you names but never retaliate. That, my friends, is the secret to life—sure, a life in which you’ll be stepped on but at least no one will dislike you, right?

Is Ledger trying to sound like Jack Nicholson? Because if he is . . . he should stop. Now.
