I loved this show.
While I never watched the show, I read the books like my life depended on them. Every fallacy about life that I know, I learned from Sweet Valley High.
I went through a Star Trek: The Next Generation stage. And I still argue with my husband over who’s the better captain—Kirk or Picard. *Cough*Picard*Cough*
I used to read The Babysitters Club but again, never watched the TV shows or movies. I’m really just putting this here because it has a young JD in it! I guess this is before he went to medical school. But where’s his mullet?!
My cousin used to put one of these on and jump out at me. It scared me. Greatly. My cousin was evil.

So, it looks as if Christianity isn’t the only religion overflowing with misogyny. Notice how he blames women for men’s thoughts and demands that women cover up. But it’s OK because he’s just using his “practical” religion to deal with “practical” things.
Also, why is it so horrible to care for your children? Why is it such a bad thing to obey your husband? Here’s an idea: why don’t you be someone’s bitch for awhile and let me know how you like it? Cloak yourself in your religion all you want—you’re still just a women-hating loser in your mom’s basement.

Where can you possibly work with a WOMEN STUDIES degree?
a lot of people are majoring in this field but where can they work and how much will they get paid??
Seems like a legitimate question, right?
most of them are recruited to work for one of three or four major research labs for makers of PMS medication.
Their constant and perpetual victimhood, screechiness, and hatred for anything maleness gives them the perfect background to be guinea pigs for the latest and greatest medications. If you can help these wretched souls, the general (female) public will certainly be helped.

depends… most [but not all!] feminists are butch lesbians, but there are some genuine women who do believe in feminism, but also love their husbands/partners. look at hanna sheehy-skeffington [née sheehy]. she married a man called francis skeffington, then they both combined their last names, so he also became “sheehy-skeffington”. i guess that makes him a feminist, so proves, men can be feminists too!
Someone should have mapped out his paragraph before he started. I feel like I’ve been dragged through a dark, dumb woods and then I came out the other side about 3 miles south of where I was supposed to be.
Women in the west grow up in an enviroment that is opposed to the nature of women. Did you ever wonder why muslim women despite of all the hardship we say they have, seem to be overall content and shun the western ways with a vengance ? How come women in the west who were and are surrounded by responsible hard working caring and soft men complain the most ?
Women like men who are in charge and keep a hard hand over them even if they wont admit that to themselfs. That is when they are happiest. Educate men to behave the way feminists lecure them to behave torward women and you end up with “bipolar” women who direspect nice good guys as soft and weak and who will cause drama after drama and throw tantrum after tantrum desperatly trying to get a reaction out of men.
Instead they are beeing put on prozac while all they want is a slap to the face.
Stressed out because of all that pressure and all that work in a time when life never was easier or lazier ? I dont think so.
Macho men who show their woman who is boss are threated best not because she fears him but because he gives her what she wants.
You don’t want a wife. You want a dog. Punish the puppy when it goes to the bathroom in the house and make sure to give it a treat when it rolls over. That way, it won’t ever throw a “temper tantrum.”
Oh, and thanks for reminding me how well women forced to wear burkas have it. I’ll remember that come swimsuit season. Idiot.
I’m beginning to notice a pattern here. Well, one besides the Stupidity Pattern. Most of these dummies like to stick into their comments something about “true” feminism. I find it interesting that, in their minds, “true” feminism is the kind that doesn’t demand too much. It’s the kind that excuses the patriarchy, gives lip service to the idea of equality between the sexes, and in the end, changes nothing. It’s the type of feminism that isn’t too uncomfortable. It’s the type that lets you pat a woman on the head and nod when she demands equality but you know all along that she’ll be making your dinner that night.
