She’s Done It To Me Again! #2
I really don’t know why I’m continuing with this. It’s just driving me crazy. Crazier. I should be sleeping right now. Poor me. Poor you. Poor . . . world with this kind of crazy in it.
26. If you’re a friend of hers you can still be a rapist.
How can a friend be a rapist ??????? So now a man talking to me is raping me? Come on idiot, smarten up. Man, unless you are talking to your wife, mother, or sisters, stop talking to all other women!!! Talking to a women is considered rape. So hey, if a lesbian talks to me does it make her a rapist? If a gay guy talks to a straight man, does it make him a rapist? Come on now.
I can’t figure out if she’s missing the point on purpose or is just that stupid. Wait . . . nah. It’s too easy. We’ll just let this one go, shall we?
28. If you’re her husband you can still be a rapist.
How is that? By deciding to enter in a marriage, you agree to the fact that they are some “marital duties” that need to be accomplished, so you know what? If you are a woman and do not like sex, either avoid marriage and/or become a lesbian (I apologize to lesbians, I have nothing against you), or if you are getting married well there are the consequences. Personally, I love marriage, I do not need to go look for sex, I have sex whenever I need it or want it, isn’t that awesome?
First of all, all lesbians right now are going, “Yippee?” Secondly, notice that again, this woman equates females with an idea of property. I guess to her, marriage = purchase of a woman. She has to be willing every time he wants to have sex? I also love the romantic use of the term “marital duties.” Such love behind that phrase.
32. Women do not owe you sex.
Yeah and men do not owe you anything either, like money, paying for you when you go out together, paying for your child support if you get pregnant against his will…. etc, etc etc…….
Oh, boy! We’re getting to the heart of the matter now, aren’t we? “Pregnant against his will” = she didn’t do as I said about an abortion. And, yeah, I had nothing to do with her being pregnant.
I think the word we’re looking for here is “control.” Some poor fellow felt like he didn’t have it—during prenatal decisions, agreements about child support, or sex. Wait—what’s that last one? Control + sex = rape? No! That can’t be right, can it?!
38. Seeing her legs or cleavage does not entitle you to sex.,em
Ok, fair enough for this one, but then again, if she is wearing almost nothing, she’s probably up to no good, so it really depends on the situation.
Wait, she almost agreed with the rule! But . . . of course, she doesn’t. Because women are at fault for men’s thoughts and actions. Sigh.
I have a confession: I think I may have hurt myself with my constant eye rolling. This whole rant is becoming hazardous to my health!
39. If she ‘turns you on’ you’re not entitled to sex.
How about if she is doing it on purpose with no intention of delivering the goods? Such a women needs her ass kicked, is the same thing as when you say that she is allowed to change her mind in the middle of the intercourse, come on now.
Why am I not suprised that someone who would defend rape would defend beating a woman?
44. If you watch a woman being raped without calling the authorities then you’re as bad as a rapist and you may also be a rapist yourself.
Don’t worry, this does not usually happen in day time in the middle of the street. I am sure that if it happened that a man was witnessing a rape, he would report it to the police, but again, why would he trust the woman? If the rapist runs off, how can he trust the woman won’t lie and accuse him, trying to help her out of the rape? After all, many rape accusations are false. So you see, it may be useful if you feminists would stop encouraging lies about rapes. You know, REAL statistics do not lie about the fact that many rape accusations are false.
Wow. Just . . . wow. Not only are most rapes actually just false allegations against poor men but a woman would point to any guy as her rapist? Again, notice her turning it around on the woman. I would say that there’s no rhyme or reason but that’s not true. She’s defending men and gleefully tearing down women. At least she’s consistent.
47. If you choose to remain friends with a man who raped a woman you are encouraging rape.
See, you have some mental problems, and you lack a heart and brains, because a “real” rapist, someone who actually rapes a woman, is in need of help. You do not automatically ostracize a rapist, because in reality, that person needs help. Usually, a rapist is a rapist because they suffered some sort of trauma along the way. So in fact, by refusing help and heal that man, YOU, the FEMINIST, are the rapist, because by not helping that person you are actually encouraging him to keep raping! So now, let me tell you, that you are more responsible for that rapist’s behavior, than the rapists himself! So in fact, that means YOU feminist are a sick person, and also in need of help. That doesn’t mean you don’t punish him, but if you don’t try to heal him, he’s not going to stop raping just because you bitch and moan at him!
Once you get past the woman deserving the rape and the fact that the man has probably been falsely accused, you reach the idea that the rapist is a victim too! The poor guy most likely suffered a “trauma” in his past.
This woman is throwing up as many roadblocks as she can to keep herself from admitting that a man who forces a woman to have sex is a rapist.
51. Do not get frustrated with a woman if she doesn’t trust you. SHE already knows that rapists don’t wear signs on their foreheads. Something you think is innocuous SHE may find terrifying.
Well, I would rather trust a man with my life than a woman. We all know that women are more willing to bicker than men, and far more willing to stab their own friends, family and children in the back. Talk about trust.
Again, she comes back to the idea that men > women. She even pulls out some stereotypes to support her statement. I tell you, this woman is a thinker.
And here’s something to make you sleep well tonight. The cherry on-top of the Stupid Sundae.
Anonymous said… 1. You are a rapist if you get a girl drunk and have sex with her. This is now the law, it seems. ![]()
The frowny face is not mine—it was in the original post.
She’s Done It To Me Again!
I have more proof that LaconicChick is out to get me. First, she points out that misogynistic MJ statue. Now, with the help of crow, she has pointed me in the direction of more stuff that will slowly drive me insane.
Here’s the link she gave. It’s to a blog with The Rapist Checklist.
Then—because she’s out to get me—she gave this link. My friends, this is just the tip of the Crazy Iceberg.
But crow is the one who put the cherry on-top of the Misogyny Sundae with this link. I could say that they both wanted to share their outrage, but I really think it’s just LaconicChick’s latest assault on my sanity.
2. You are a rapist if you find a drunk girl and have sex with her.
Again so what? Can a murderer delegate responsibility because he was drunk? I do not think so. So why should a drunken woman? Too bad for you girl, drink moderately and take your share part of the responsibility, you had sex with a man and were drunk? Again too bad, you are as much responsible.
Notice how she’s (the blog is run by a man but these responses are from his wife) comparing the victim of a rape to a murderer. She doesn’t compare the rapist to the murderer, but the victim. This little window into this person’s soul sums up the whole blog: hatred of women.
5. If she’s alternating between puking her guts out and passing out in the bed then you’re a rapist.
You are crazy. I can’t see a man fucking a puking woman, that is disgusting, you are sick for even mentioning it. Men can also feel compassion and sympathy , you know that? sometimes 100 times more than women, did you know the most disgusting and horrific crimes/murders are done by women?
Notice the need to protect a bad idea about men with an equally/more horrific example of women doing wrong. This is a woman who has taken the ideas of the patriarchy to a whole other level.
10. If you drug her then you’re a rapist.
Oh my god, such nonsense, makes me ill. In your wildest dreams maybe.
This really means: You want to be drugged and raped. Because women are whores.
12. If you don’t bother to ask her permission and she says neither ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ then you could be a rapist.
Well then she is an idiot, and to me it means she is undecided, so what is wrong with a guy trying to convince a woman and arouse her? if she is really not that interested, she could talk and say “NO”
Undecided is the same as saying yes? I see. So, I guess it’s not “stalking” but is actually “convincing?”
16. If you threaten her, or act in a way that SHE thinks you’re threatening her then you’re a rapist. If you puff up and get loud and frustrated while trying to ‘talk’ her into sex then you’re a rapist.
OH LALALALALALLLA what an idiot you are. Come on get over it, not all guys are rapists, because you may have been raped, you are the unlucky one, go get help and stop bashing all men for your sad experiences with men, and if you had many experiences like that, maybe you are addicted to violence?? Just a thought, a sane woman does not go from one nasty relationship to another, unless she is addicted to violence. Get help, and stop bashing all men for your curse.
So, not only does she assume that the author of the list is a rape victim, but has stated that the victim was just “unlucky.” Wait. I thought women caused their rapes? Now they’re just unlucky—like stumbling over a crack in the sidewalk? Does a rape victim just stumble and fall onto the rapist’s penis?
20. If you’re engaged in intercourse and she says ‘No’ at ANY point and you don’t immediately stop then you’re a rapist.
They are having intercourse! How the hell is he a rapist if all of a sudden she says no?????? That is total nonsense! I mean she had agreed, she can’t just change her mind like that, once the couple has begun intercourse, it is a bit late to change your mind, don’t you think? you could have said no, before that! What a bitch and stupid idiot you are.
“She can’t just change her mind like that” really means: a woman is property. Once she’s naked she’s MINE.
22. If she picked you up at a bar looking for sex and then decides that she doesn’t WANT sex and you continue then you’re a rapist.
Well, well, then why on earth would she go after the guy? Come on, that just being a pure bitch, it is criminal to do such a thing.
Poor guy. Why, doesn’t that woman know that it’s almost a criminal act to deny him sex if he wants it? In fact, forcing a man to not have sex is much more criminal than forcing a woman to have sex.
25. If you don’t have a knife or a gun or a garrote and she says ‘No’ then you’re still a rapist.
Same as 24, you obviously have nothing to say other than to bash men, let me tell you, some modern women can be worse then any cannibalistic savage out there. There you go, nice comparison: modern feminist = cannibal.
Again, vilifying women—particularly women who demand equality—to take attention away from the male act
I can’t even process the rest of the crazy right now. Must leave. Sleep. Drool on pillow. Try to pretend this isn’t Bizarro World. Cry in a corner. Just the usual.
Uhhhhh . . .
Looks like he’s still here. And apparently, he still wants us to kneel before him.
Messin’ With My Mind!
I’m so confused. I don’t know whether I’m amazed or if I’m angry because it’s given me a headache. Either way, I’ve lost an hour of my life that I’ll never get back.
Make sure to notice the creepy eyes following your cursor. That’s good for at least a week of nightmares.
Still A Little Confused
I was once told that I think too much. It is a problem that I’m trying to find a cure for. But until then, I guess I’m going to keep thinking about societal ills and the debates about them.
Main Entry: fem·i·nism
Pronunciation: 'fe-m&-"ni-z&m
Function: noun
1 : the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes
2 : organized activity on behalf of women’s rights and interests
When someone asks me if she’s a feminist, I ask her if she believes in the equality of the sexes. If she says yes, then I tell her that she’s a feminist. No other prerequisites are needed—just your belief that woman should be treated equal to men.
But what if someone claims she (I say she but I’ve heard these arguments from both sexes) is a feminist, and then proceeds to give every argument that she can think of for the inequality of the sexes? What if she brings up the biological reality of women having babies as a reason for women not having power? What if that is enough for her—what if she refuses to see the many cultural elements that go into the patriarchy? What if she demands proof of a patriarchy because she’s never seen any evidence of it, at least in her life? What if she claims that women do have power, because they care for the children?
And what of opinions and everyone’s right to have one? All opinions should be respected, right? Where is that line drawn? Do I only denounce opinions like “Black people are inferior” and “I think left-handed children should be beaten?” Or do I disagree with all opinions that are faulty, including the ones that support a system that keeps half the world in a secondary position? Are all opinions valid?
Of course all opinions aren’t valid. Many opinions are hurtful. Everyone is free to spout their opinion, but I don’t think you should be shocked if someone points out to you that you’re wrong.
I also think many people who claim to be feminists . . . aren’t feminists at all. If you believe in the equal treatment of the sexes, you are a feminist. Period. End of sentence. When you add a “but” to that sentence, you are adding conditions to that idea. The sentence is not “I’m a feminist but I have never seen any evidence of the patriarchy” or “I totally think we live in a patriarchy but I don’t think men have much of a part in it.”
It doesn’t matter if you wear make-up or like dolls. It doesn’t matter if you get your nails done or if you have dirt under your fingernails. None of the superficialities of life matter. The only idea that matters is if you think women should be treated equally to men.
In so many places around the web and in my real life, I’ve seen women unable to deal with uncomfortable ideas. I’ve seen them unwilling to point a finger—unable to realize that possibly, that unwillingness is the patriarchy’s contribution to their mental make-up.
So, I think what this wandering post is trying to say is this: Feminists believe in the equal treatment of the sexes. End of sentence. There is no defense of men, the patriarchy, or your dad in that statement. You don’t have to cut your hair short or wear flannel shirts. What you might have to do is admit that there is a problem in society with the treatment of women. And—this is the hard part—you might just have to admit that you’re part of the problem.
