See Ya Later

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you’re here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

*sob*

Actually, I’ll only be gone until Monday so the one person that reads this blog can actually go outside for a couple of days. You can’t get any sun while sitting in the basement and hitting the refresh button all the time, man!

Gotta feel bad for New Orleans—first Katrina and now me. Can’t the Big Easy get a break?

Stupidity #10

June 26, 2007 at 11:38 pm (Feminism, Rants)

Some of you may remember my post about the use of the term “chick” when referring to a woman. One young lady mentions how she was upset when her boyfriend used that term when talking about a woman. The responses?

And I know women who don’t like it when women are called “girls.”Get over yourself – it’s just a word.

Just a word, folks. Words don’t help frame thinking at all. In fact, approach a person of color and call them a racial name—make sure you let them know that they shouldn’t be upset about it because . . . it’s just a word.

Whats wrong with the word ‘chick’? I don’t get why you women always make mountains out of mole hills.

Indeed. Stupid women with their “issues” and their “wanting respect.”

My chick doesn’t mind when I say chick. Nothing wrong with it, really. Unless you are ashamed of being female.

Yes, here we are again—back to the idea of what a “true” woman is. She loves to wear dresses, cook, clean, and she keeps her mouth shut. She adores it when her fella calls her pet names that sexualize her and downgrade her to the level of an object. Bonus points if she’s “hot.”

I’m a woman and even I use the term “chick.” It’s a WORD. Nothing to get all excited about.Put on your big girl panties and stop whining.

What is this I see? A woman unable or unwilling to think deeply about deeply ingrained ideas of sexism that exist in our society—which include language? Yep, that’s what I see.

it’s just slang….
i don’t know why it bothers you…
just imagine him calling you a cute little baby chicken… they’re fuzzy and sweet!

Oh, yes! It’s much better to be excepted by those in power than to question them! Plus, society tells me that this word is a compliment so *giggles* this means that someone thinks I’m cute!

I’m w/*edited to protect the stupid *on this…don’t do the drama!

Yes, stupid woman. Obviously, since you’re a gal, you can’t have thought about this and come to your own conclusion about this insignificant issue—jeez, it’s just a word! Just another emotional woman wanting to create drama. Sigh. Crazy, crazy women.

This stuff really makes me hate people.

Don’t tell my brother but I’ve found his Christmas present!

I can’t wait to see his face when he opens his present and sees this. He loves to blow stuff up—and now he can do it in the name of the Lord!

Stupidity #9

June 23, 2007 at 8:10 pm (Feminism, Rants)

Whats the best way to deal with women who get emotional over money.?

Men & women view money differently, Women view Money as the solution to happiness it’s not even necessary to have a goal in mind as long as they have money they seem content, men on the other hand understand money is a tool to accomplish goals. If he can accomplish his gaol without money he’s happy. You give a woman money and all of a sudden new needs arise and she forgets why she has it. There is never enough money in a woman’s mind, as for a man he wants to accomplish as much as he can at low cost.

 Uhhhhhhh . . .

Why do you hate feminism?

Legitimate question, right?

I don’t ‘hate’ it. I am just sorry to see how it has diminished the femininity of all women. ~

Indeed. Nothing’s worse than women in . . . pants?

I love feminism, woman are feminine and i love woman. I just don’t like extreme feminist woman who are always whining and trying to push there views around to guy’s and get them in trouble just for trying to get a date or trying to live like a man wants to live.

He loves feminine women. He just doesn’t want women to demand too much—you know, like respect and equality. Those “extreme” feminists make him uncomfortable.

I do not hate feminism I actually feel sorry for everyone who has been decieved by it because they think it is something it isnt. While suffragettes gave women the right to vote it can be argued if that was an early form of feminism, but it isnt like all the men had the right to vote from the crack of dawn eithier. Women assume feminists made sure that deserving women would get recognition for their work and achievements. That is not true women who wanted to engage in art research and the like got recognition and support.
If feminist claim they did all that for women how come there are so many exampels of women lightyears before feminism who excelled, which ironically they like to cite virgorously. What feminists did is actually REDUCE the choice for women. Lets be sincere most of us work because they have to to make a living I doubt anyone felt a calling to stand at the assembly line or to wipe floors. From a feminist standpoint the world was well and fine 100 years ago, for both men and women worked outside the house. Guess what women back then did not want to have to work away from home and children and wanted men to earn enough so that they could stay at home to look after the home and children. So we had strikes the class revolution storm on the machines the forming of unions and the capitalists who naturally were on the supply side of work had to give in and give the same pay check they payed for both men and women to work for them to the man. The women who felt a higher calling were free to do so while the ones who did not did have not to do a job that did not fullfy them to make a living. Of course washing and cleaning isnt fulfilling eitheir but you do want clean clothes and house dont you ? But the main problem for capitalists wasnt arithmetics based on demand and supply of work. The “A womans place belongs at home with the children” line was percieved differntly back then. It was not only not not percieved to be anti woman, it was quite the opposite. It was to protect the family unit from exploitation. A fabric owner would have been highly shamed for paying the man half the wage he got after the fight arguing that the woman should work as well if he did not earn enough to pay the bills out of his paycheck alone. So some major brainwashing needed to be done. Thats where feminim stepped in. It focused on the tiny number of women who made poor partner choices and selled the cure to it as dragging women back into the workforce, only that they did not call it dragging them back in but allowing and liberation from opressive husbands which opressed them from making somone rich even richer and by making them spend too much time around their children and house. Only that it wasnt a cure at all since we spend today tax dollars after women who are not sustained by a man as well and the numbers are increasing. However it is a cure for those who get rich by offering work. The woman forced to work to make ends meet with her husband is called liberated today, nice. It is no coincidence that feminism was funded by very rich men. As for the women who aspire for higher little changed since they were able to do that in the past as well with no problems whatsoever. The women were opressed and contemporary documentation and decoration of deserving women well before Mary Curie just not mix. Of course they had to deal with envious men but that is something brilliant men had to endure too and then some !! Just like men who wanted to rule had to go through powerstruggels. But it was all fooder for the feminist propaganda machine. And even now that women realize that they and many other women do NOT have the choice have to work to make ends meet toegether with their husband they still dont get that they have been duped from men that wanted a womans place to be away from her children away from her house at work to make them richer. But hey its fine for me :-) . Right now Iam making really good money and if I eventually want to set up a buisness and you gals dont quite make it to Ceo you are welcome at my eventual facility :-) .

In this large group of run-on sentences, we finally have the falsity of feminism shown to us. Listen here, gals. Things were great 100 years ago. So, something, something, something about capitalists, something, something, something . . . brainwashing! Something, something, something about Marie Curie, something . . . propaganda! There. That’s all cleared up.

i have a lot of respect for the early feminists, they’ve made a great life for us modern girls…..but as the decades have pushed on feminists seem to be loud mouths, who are pretentious and condescending, and so insecure with themeselves that they decide to blame an “unfair society” i’m not say society is equal, just that i hate people who will shout unfounded “facts” during a debate..and that’s what feminism seems to be becoming

Yeah, those facts that make you uncomfortable and shore up the feminists’ viewpoint really stink, don’t they? If only facts always agreed with you.

I don’t like feminism because it takes away a lot of things I find attractive in womens personalities and turns women into men in women’s bodies.

It has created a generation of selfishly independent, macho, self-serving, none commital, egotistical man hating teases who live to manipulate and annoy men.

Someone can’t get a girlfriend.

Round Up Again

June 23, 2007 at 5:46 pm (Politics, Random)

This makes me want to punch a wall. Or a person. Whatever.

I can’t think of a more qualified person than an actor to deal with the reality of the world we live in. In fact, the only person more qualified than an actor to be president of the USA is a street mime. Or possibly, the insane hobo who mutters to himself as he urinates on the street corner by the 7-11.

Here’s a dumb little show that I bet you’ve never watched—because you’re smarter than I am. It’s basically a show in which Sean Hannity rants about the state of the world. Did you know:

1. That we’re going to Hell in a hand-basket?

2. That Hollywood is evil and trying to destroy the world? With lasers?

3. That Hilary Clinton has no soul? Or she’s a robot—this one isn’t really clear yet.

4. That Socialists have taken over the Democratic party—but Fundies haven’t  touched the Republican party.

5. That the Good Old Days were great!?!? Did you know that nothing was better than buying candy from the local pharmacy and riding you bike home as the sun set? All the neighborhood mothers called the kids home to dinner as the dads sat reading the newspaper and smoking their pipes. What a glorious time in American history—unless you were a woman or you were black. Oh, and let’s not forget that the above image is largely a creation of stupid baby-boomers looking back at history with rose-colored glasses.

Another reason to like him.

Brazilians hate fat girls.

What?!?! This is so weird I can’t even mock it.

Lovely. There’s nothing cuter than a drunk baby.

Again, I’m totally ignoring you. But here’s something to stop your whining, if only for a little bit.

And here’s something else—just because I’m feeling generous.

Now, if you’ll excuse me . . . I have important things to do. Like maneuver Lara Croft through multiple precarious jumps.

Stupidity #8

June 22, 2007 at 6:28 pm (Feminism, Rants)

I think its feminism. I love women who love being women and are proud of it. I dislike women who hate being women.. a.k.a “Feminists”. They want all the perks of being a man AND all the perks of being a woman. They expect men to be attracted to them when they are fat and ugly and ‘hate’ men when they don’t do or act as they wish. The feminist who are lucky enough to be born attractive use it as a weapon to control and use men. They tease men and make them suffer, then laugh about it with their girlfriends. But these are the first women who will complain about men treating women poorly. Its the hypocracy I hate.. not the women.

This is in reponse to the question “What causes misogyny?” In his answer, this guy not only blames women for a man’s hatred of them but he also manages to work in the old “feminist just have penis envy” idea. Yep, no women really want equality—they just hate being women!

Is forcing my wife to have sex considered rape?

My wife is always refusing to have sex with me. I am a good husband – I give her a good home, I pay for everything she wants, and I make her happy so she never do anything but sit around in home all day.
However she almost never wants to have sex with me except maybe 2-3 times a month.

It is against my religion to cheat on my wife.

So can a husband really be considered to be raping a wife?

Wait! Don’t get upset! After a firestorm of protest flares up over this question he posts this one.

wow you chicks are crazythis was just a joke question

Ha ha! Wasn’t that funny? Isn’t he clever?!?!

Legitimate Question – can we really trust a women to be president given PMS?

I know that PMS has different implications for different women, but is it really safe to trust the world’s largest collection of nuclear weapons to someone who may suffer from irrational bouts of anger once a month?

Not trying to sound sexist…

The fact that you think that this is a legitmate question really tells me all I need to know about you, doesn’t it? This is the same Einstein who gave us the “joke” question.

Guess what, genius. That’s a stereotype. Also, would it be any worse than letting a stupid man with a testosterone issue be in control of the weapons?

Monthly bouts of anger. How about daily bouts of stupidity, you dummy? That seems to be your problem. Legitimate question my ass!

Sorry

June 22, 2007 at 4:07 pm (Random, Video Games)

I haven’t been posting much. I could tell you that it’s because I’m working on the cure to cancer or trying to figure out how to save humanity from itself. But that would be a lie. A dirty stinking lie.

No, in the time when I would normally post something for you all to mock—the time between TV watching and comic book reading—I’ve been . . . playing Tomb Raider: Anniversary.

Right now, a video game is more important to me than you. Sucks to be you right now!
